Networld Media Group (NMG) today announced that Cherryh Butler has returned as editor of FastCasual.com and will also oversee three of the company’s other news sites, QSRWeb.com, PizzaMarketplace.com and RetailCustomerExperience.com.

“Cherryh is a well-known industry veteran reporter in many of the verticals we cover. She will be developing and providing rich content not only for our sites but also for Networld Media Group’s executive summits, including the annual Fast Casual Executive Summit, now in its 10th year,” said Kathy Doyle, executive vice president and publisher. “Cherryh will also work with the ICX Summit team as a content provider. The Interactive Customer Experience is a subject top of mind for many business professionals working in both the retail and restaurant industries and is a natural fit for a sharing of best practices.”

Most recently, Butler was working as content editor at Barkley, an ad agency in Kansas City, where she studied millennials, consumers between the ages of 18 and 37. She wrote several reports and articles about how brands can best connect with those consumers, and her work was featured in several publications, including Forbes and the American Business Journal.

“I’m so excited to be back at FastCasual.com. The industry is always changing and growing, and I’m happy to be a part of it again. I’m also looking forward to working on our other food and retail publications, as well as our summits and Top 100 reports. They give attendees and readers such a solid understanding of the industries, and it feels great to be able to help businesses grow.”
