Mobile and the digital disruption taking place in today’s business environment are the keynote topics two top digital leaders will speak to at Networld Media Group’s CONNECT Mobile Innovation Summit, taking place in Chicago August 15 to August 17.

Pizza Hut’s Global Chief Digital Officer Baron Concors will target the state of mobile, from bots to beacons to payment. Concors is responsible for driving digital innovation across marketing, technology and partnerships to keep Pizza Hut front and center with its tech-savvy consumers.

He has served as CIO for several other Yum! Brands, including KFC and Taco Bell and has been named as one of the 100 Premier Technology Leaders by Computerworld Magazine.

His keynote speech, “The State of Mobile: Where Are We Now and Where Are We Going?” will kick off the three day CONNECT event.

The annual event will conclude with a keynote tackling another dynamic topic: how digital disruption is leveling the playing field. The disruption is all due to mobility, big data and cloud computing, says Shashank Saxena, senior director, special projects in strategy and new business development at The Kroger Co.

Saxena, who joined Kroger in 2012, has worked for many technology brands and retailers including Dell and Target and he is one of the founding members of the Global Mobile Center of Excellence at Citi. Saxena will speak to the current era of mobility and how digital investments are a key to shaping the future.

His keynote, which will close out CONNECT on August 17, as well as Concors’ presentation, are just two invaluable opportunities for retailers, restaurants and B2C enterprises seeking insight and strategy for leveraging mobile and digital channels.

Registration for CONNECT is open with Early Bird pricing in effect until May 27.
