Editorial Content Manager
Job Location: Louisville, KY (remote candidates may be considered)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year
We are seeking a business/technology journalist to join our team as the editor of one of our online B2B publications. Essential skills include the ability to break news as well as write longer analytical and feature stories on important industry trends.

Responsibilities:
- Become intimately familiar with your assigned industry and its many stakeholders
- Cultivate sources and generate feature story ideas
- Research, write and publish at least three news briefs per day
- Research, write and publish at least two features per week
- Seek out and work with external contributors (bloggers) to create additional site content
- Proof and write subject lines for scheduled e-newsletters
- Create posts and engage with readers regularly via LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Participate in digital media, including webinars, podcasts and video interviews
- Participate in live and virtual events produced by Networld Media Group
- Function as a content manager for live events, contributing to agenda ideas and contacting industry experts in various markets to retain as speakers.
- Contribute to special projects, such as premium reports
- Attend industry conferences (as needed)
- Represent Networld Media Group in other media, at industry events, and in other public context
- Work closely with colleagues in multiple coverage areas, including proofing content written by other Networld Media Group editors
- Other duties as assigned by the Managing Editor
Qualifications:
- A passion for journalism, ideally with demonstrated experience covering business, technology or both
- Excels at developing relationships and trust with contacts and sources
- Ability to prioritize a large volume of writing assignments based on urgency and deadlines
- Ability to write with clarity, insight, and depth in a timely manner, producing content that follows AP Style and typically requires little editing
- General understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and how to write SEO-driven headlines and content
- Must be social media savvy and possess thorough grasp of the use of social media for audience engagement
- Proficient public speaker who is at ease speaking to an audience at live events, on webinars and on podcasts
- Proficiency in the tools of digital publishing, including a content management system (CMS)
- Experience with AI tools a plus

Chief Revenue Officer
This position is Louisville based, and will be responsible for the overall brand management of the Company’s Business-to-Business website as well as physical and virtual events. You will be the chief revenue driver for product sales by helping our customers – suppliers and readers – with their integrated marketing needs that include digital media and conferences.
What you will do:
- Manage the P/L for customer products
- Oversee and assist the sales team which includes sales strategy and execution, working with their customers, and helping the team meet their individual goals.
- Lead by example, providing hands on customer field-oriented guidance.
- Develop pricing strategies and go-to-market offers.
- Manage department heads to achieve individual and Company goals through strategy and execution.
- Develop compensation plans that drive revenue, as well as internal staff retention and employee personal growth.
- Under the guidance of the CEO, you will assist in developing product launches from start to finish.
- Work with the SVP of HR/Administration to follow Company policies and procedures
- This position requires 35% travel specifically around generating a wider network of industry professionals to add to our portfolio. That includes, sales leads, conference speakers and potential partnerships.
Management and sales skills needed:
- Proven leadership in sales and operations processing.
- Ability to manage and lead a team by example with enthusiasm, hard work, dedication, and trust.
- Top-notch networking practices
- Superior money management practices
Technical skills:
- CRM, Excel, Power point, social media participation, good written and oral communications.
