ATMmarketplace.com, the Web site portal covering the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) industry, surpassed another milestone when it reached the 10,000-registered-user plateau. The site, which provides news and information on the one-million machine-strong ATM industry, has seen its number of registered users double in the last six months.

Visitors to the site sign up for the free membership, which allows access to all sections of the site, including Message Boards, Classifieds, Storefronts, Product Listings and Industry Links.

In addition to the registered user numbers, which have grown by an average of 1,000 each month in 2001, the number of site requests has exceeded its previous records. In June, the site received more than 2.5 million hits.

NetWorld Alliance is the owner and operator of ATMmarketplace.com, its sister site KIOSKmarketplace.com and kiosks.org, a membership site.

“Membership in ATMmarketplace.com illustrates the growing interest in ATMs, and the growing dependence people have for information from the Web,” said Dick Good, chief executive officer of the 18-month-old firm.

NetWorld Alliance reached another milestone in May when its achieved profitability four months ahead of schedule. The company, headquartered in Louisville, Ky., began operations in February 2000. For more information, go to NetWorld Alliance’s Web site.
