FastCasual is bringing you even more catering tips and tricks when we meet in Austin after the Fast Casual Executive Summit.

After a successful inaugural Restaurant Catering Workshop last year in Denver, FastCasual is bringing you even more catering tips and tricks when we meet in Austin after the Fast Casual Executive Summit, which is Oct. 5-7. We will transition into all-things-catering on Oct. 7 and spend an entire day on Oct. 8 giving you all the information needed to grow your catering business.

Catering gurus Erle Dardick, founder of the Off-Premise Growth Academy, and Kelly Grogan, founder of Crumbs, will serve as the keynotes with Grogan stepping in as content director and emcee.

“This conference is a must-attend for anyone looking to grow their sales and take their catering programs to the next level,” she said. “Sales, Marketing, Technology, Execution & Finance – everything you need to build catering as a growth business in your 4 walls. I’m thrilled to share actionable best practices, proven strategies, and insider tips to help attendees maximize their success. This event is also a unique chance to network with some of the brightest minds in the industry, exchanging ideas that will inspire real, measurable results.”

Catering is no longer just an add-on; it’s transforming the way restaurants operate and thrive.

“If you’re not leaning into catering, you’re leaving crumbs on the table,” said Grogan, who will kick things off Oct. 7 with her keynote, “The Future of Catering: Turning Off-Premises into a Scalable Growth Engine.”

Speakers include catering gurus from DeliverThat, McAlister’s Deli, Freebirds, Cowboy Chicken. See the agenda here to check out speakers as we are confirming new additions on a daily basis.

Looking for a sign? Here it is
Since the content and networking at the workshop are next-level, we decided a hotel wouldn’t do this year. We’ll be hanging out at El Arroyo, which is known for its delicious Mexican fare but also as the “funny sign place.” Owned by Ellis Winstanley, El Arroyo has served up Tex-Mex with a side of laughs on the famous marquee sign in front of the restaurant in Austin, Texas. It’s more than just a restaurant, it’s a cultural phenomenon. The iconic marquee sign has become an integral part of the Austin community, with people stopping by to snap a photo and share a laugh.
