Slice House has awarded over 139 franchise agreements since the brand began franchising last year.
California-based Slice House by Tony Gemignani took the top spot on Pizza Marketplace’s 2024 Top 100 Movers & Shakers list and was honored Tuesday at the Pizza Top 100 Gala at the Las Vegas Country Club.
Helmed by World Pizza Champion and master pizzaiolo Tony Gemignani, Slice House launched franchising just last year and has over 139 units awarded or in business. Its franchising program gives franchisees a flexible revenue stream from brick-and-mortar locations to stadium kiosks.

To make the Top 100 list, which includes the Top 75 brands and the Top 25 pizza industry executives, brands nominated themselves and were vetted by a panel of judges. They measured their growth, use of technology and leadership in the industry.
“Last year we awarded brands in categories like technology and marketing, but this straight list of winners affords us the chance to acknowledge more brands than ever. We’re proud of our Top 100 winners,” Detwiler said.
During the gala, social media outlet TikTok gave a special award to Cicis Pizza, headquartered in Coppell, Texas, for excellence on the social media platform.
“Cicis Pizza has successfully leveraged TikTok to raise awareness of new pizza offerings while continuously driving customers into restaurants through their use of both organic and paid best practices,” said Lauran Driver, head of industry, dining, auto, and travel for TikTok U.S. “We are so proud to present them with the first ever ‘Doughing it Right’ TikTok award for their efforts in 2023.”
Nominations for the Pizza Marketplace Top 100 Movers & Shakers 2025 list will open this December.
