Self-service equipment operators typically target two sets of customers — the end-user and the retailers or real estate owners that host the machines. But with digital screen advertising now available, operators also need to consider the brands they can promote.

A panel during the Self-Service Innovation Summit, Dec. 14-16 in Hollywood, Florida, will discuss how digital out-of-home advertising can be an additional revenue source for self-service equipment operators and the steps they need to take to tap this new revenue stream. The panel is titled, “The third customer set: An opportunity you didn’t even know you’re ignoring.”

Panelists include Brendan Carr, new business development director, Crane Medianet, Donnie Helms, CFO of Pursuant Health, Adrienne Lin, foodservice marketing manager at PepsiCo Inc. and Derek Myers, founder and CEO of Advana.

Eric Lamb, senior vice president of supply at Vistar Media, the panel sponsor, will moderate the panel.
