The Self-Service Innovation Summit will be accessible virtually for industry members who are not able to physically attend the Summit Dec. 14-16 in Hollywood, Florida. This year’s Summit, at The Diplomat Beach Resort, will be the first “hybrid” Summit following last year’s inaugural SSIS, which was virtual.
Networld Media Group, the event organizer, is offering the virtual option for international participants who might face travel restrictions.
Virtual attendees will be able to watch livestream videos of the sessions. There is a $295 cost to view the livestream and pre-registration is required.
Ruth Crowley, Hudson Group vice president of merchandise and brand strategy, will open with a keynote at 5:10 p.m. EST Tuesday, Dec. 14, and ends with the Thought Leader Roundtable at 11:15 a.m. EST Thursday, Dec. 16.
In addition to educational sessions and keynote presentation, the Summit includes the presentation of the Self-Service Innovation Awards at 4 p.m. EST Wednesday, Dec. 15. The awards include the Innovation of the Year (B2B), Innovation of the Year (B2C), Best COVID-19 Solution, Reader’s Choice Award Innovator of the Year (Company) and Reader’s Choice Award Innovator of the Year (Person).
The Summit will examine advances in technology that are empowering businesses to provide products and services when, where and how consumers expect them. The event will cover self-service, kiosk and vending solutions that can be applied in a wide range of settings.
