Designed with busy schedules in mind, #QSRNext features 30-minute, hard-hitting sessions.

Recognizing that QSR leaders needed a convenient way to exchange ideas, tips and advice with one another, Networld Media group — the publishers of QSRWeb.com and the producers of the Fast Casual Executive Summit — have created #QSRNext, a free one-day virtual event on Nov. 9 catering specifically to fast food brands.

“This event works kind of like a fast-moving cram-course in the best and most innovative things that top QSRs are doing now,” said Shelly Whitehead, the editor of QSRWeb.com and co-host of #QSRnext. “We’re building a great line-up of sessions, featuring everyone from the pioneers of the ghost kitchen movement to tech and culinary experts from top brands like Wendy’s and White Castle.”

Designed with busy schedules in mind, the 30-minute, back-to-back sessions run more like workshops than standard sessions, according to Cherryh Cansler, Networld’s vice president of editorial, who is also co-hosting the new event.

“Attendees will learn from execs in the trenches, who will be specific when it comes to answering questions about everything from contactless interfaces and hiring struggles to attracting investors and diverse, high-functioning teams,” she said.

CKE International president Mike Woida is keynoting the event and will discuss what he’s learned during his 40-year career in the QSR industry, including the nearly three decades he’s spent developing international markets for Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. restaurants.

Although new speakers are being confirmed daily, the agenda includes:
