The Interactive Customer Experience Summit, which is celebrating its seventh year, is a dual event in 2023 featuring the Bank Customer Experience Summit.
The Interactive Customer Experience Summit will celebrate its seventh year at this year’s event taking place Sept. 11-13 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The summit brings together B2C brands to learn from industry leaders, network among peers and hear from top innovators when it comes to innovative customer experience. It is the official event of the Interactive Customer Experience (ICX) Association. The association’s mission is to connect the brands, suppliers, agencies and more that are working to create transcendent customer experiences.
This year’s ICX Summit keynote speakers include Nike’s Kimberly Ware, who heads up digital innovation and partnership transformation in North America, and AREA15 CTO Mark Stutzman, who will provide insight on leveraging data to improve the customer experience.
Past summit attendees describe the event as informative and rejuvenating.

Wide ranging agenda, award event
This year’s ICX Summit agenda hits a multitude of topics from understanding the hard and soft costs of delivery to using AI to streamline the customer experience. Additional sessions focus on meeting retail customers in the metaverse, creating a more inclusive experience and humanizing the virtual customer experience.
The ICX Summit also includes the official presentation of the annual Elevate Awards, which honor retailers and vendors that have created or implemented technologies that elevate the customer experience.
The awards are open to companies across all industries and of all sizes. Any CX technology project a company completed after Jan. 1, 2022 is eligible for nomination, which is now open.
Five winners will be selected by a panel of judges with one being recognized as “Innovator of the Year.” Winners are chosen based on their innovative use of technology to improve customer satisfaction, engagement and loyalty.
Two for 1
The ICX Summit is taking place simultaneously with the Bank Customer Experience Summit.
Both events are hosted by Networld Media Group which holds several industry events throughout the year.
